Gomez, renowned as one of Instagram’s most followed users, was showered with adoration in the comment section of her post. Camila Cabello’s comment particularly stood out, exclaiming, “Good god woman have mercy.”

Lily Collins left a heartfelt comment, stating, “Truly stunning inside and out,” while Nicola Peltz Beckham expressed admiration, writing, “You’re so beautiful,” accompanied by three pink sparkly hearts.

In her Instagram story on Saturday, Gomez shared a picture of herself posing on a stool in an oversized white T-shirt, along with a collage featuring her former “Wizards of Waverly Place” co-star, David Henrie. The duo is co-producing a reboot of the beloved Disney Channel show, scheduled to air this fall.

In recent years, the 31-year-old Gomez has made a point of being authentic. In January, she addressed body image issues on social media. Sharing before-and-after photos of herself in a swimsuit, apparently taken by paparazzi, Gomez reflected on her journey.

In the first photo, showcasing a younger Gomez in a string bikini, she wrote, “Today I realized I will never look like this again…”

In the subsequent photo, Gomez appeared in a two-piece swimsuit with more coverage, expressing, “I’m not perfect but I’m proud to be who I am. Sometimes I forget it’s okay to be me.”

Gomez has been candid about her health struggles, including lupus and bipolar disorder, in a 2023 episode of Apple TV+’s “Dear…”.

“My weight would constantly fluctuate due to medications. People would shame me for gaining weight because of my lupus,” she shared. “I was being shamed for my body, and it hurt.”

She also addressed how online hate impacts body image, recalling times when she responded to hurtful comments.

“Though I said it didn’t bother me, because I didn’t want it to hurt others going through the same thing, I was in tears,” she admitted. “Nobody deserves to feel less than.”
