In 2005, J Balvin was discovered by A&R person Erick Arc Elliott. In 2009, he signed a contract with the record label of Universal Music Latino to release his music in North America. A year later, he released his first album “Yo Te Lo Dije” which sold 500,000 copies worldwide and generated a number of hits across Latin America.
Meet Yendry, a Dominican-Italian singer and songwriter best known for her participation in the sixth edition of X Factor Italy. She won the competition and Sony Music Italy gave her a record deal. From 2015 to 2018 she was the frontwoman of the group Materianera. In 2020 she’s created and released singles such as “Barrio” and “Nena” which have both achieved international popularity, leading to her signing a double record deal with RCA Records and Sony Music Latin. Her latest single “Ya no soy niña” has been recognized as one of the 20 best songs of 2021 by Rolling Stone Magazine.
